PET PEEVE The difference between a chocolate flavored shake and a chocolate ice cream shake

Ok, i am sick of establishments luring me out of my cave with promises of milkshake cornucopia. I get to the said establishment and ask my usual question "do you make your chocolate milkshakes with chocolate ice cream?" The Answer 90% of the time "No, we use vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup" NOOOOOOO, sorry mate that is not a Chocolate Milkshake!! that is a chocolate flavored milkshake.

What is wrong with us, chocolate syrup makes the shake all cloyingly sweet and disgusting, i want that rich coco and yummy chocolate depth in my shake. Anyway thats the way i feel about milkshakes.

Wowzer, been a long time

Wowzer, been a long time since i blogged, well this blog is about my venture with 2 colleagues Chaps aka Patchworks aka Chipples and Golden aka Golden Brown aka Mr Politics, basically a recording of cool stuff that we are into plus our hilarious shenanigans and escapades.

Ok, Lucha Taco is the venture and we are trying to bring great mexican and south western food to Jozi, we have a stand every sunday at Arts On Main in downtown Johannesburg. It's a complete labour of love, we make everything from scratch and try source authentic mexican ingredients, we have a great selection of home made cordials including the super popular CHILLI LEMONADE!. Our Menu and repertoire grow every week.
